DAILY CAMPING POLICIES

  1. ALL vehicles entering the Park MUST have a pass. Whether you have a season pass or day pass, ensure it is clearly visible on your vehicle(s) windows so our Maintenance staff can ensure everyone has a valid pass. Motor homes are required to purchase a pass for towed vehicles. You will be charged a one-time fee of $8.00 for your towed vehicle regardless of your length of stay in the park.
  2. Only one RV and one tent are allowed per site. If there is no RV present and you are camping in a tent, then there may be 2 tents per site. You can add an extra tent (maximum 2 tents) on each site for a charge of $10 per tent, per night. You must inform the park entry booth staff when checking-in if this will apply to you. Anyone found to have setup an extra tent(s), without paying or exceeding the maximum tents allowed per site will be instructed to immediately take them down.
  3. Outside firewood is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Please help us protect our trees from insects and disease. Cutting down branches or trees in the Park for firewood is also not allowed. Cutting down branches or trees in the park will result in an immediate eviction from the park. Firewood is available for purchase at the Park Entry Booth. Any outside firewood that is found in your vehicle, RV or campsite will be confiscated and you will be able to pick it up on your check-out date.
  4. Alcohol and Cannabis are permitted in the park, but you must remain in your campsite. Anyone caught walking or driving outside of their site with any alcohol or cannabis will be reported to the RCMP immediately.
  5. Check-in is 2:00 pm.
  6. Check-out 11:00 am. We appreciate your cooperation in checking out on time. This allows our busy maintenance staff to prepare your site before the next campers arrive.
  7. The speed limit on all paved roads in the Park is 30km/h. The speed limit on all gravel roads in the Park is 20km/h.
  8. Please obey all stop and yield signs in the Park.
  9. Quiet time is 11:00 pm – 7:00 am. Please be courteous and think of your neighbors’ and other campers when quiet time is not in effect. Any extremely loud music, profanity, inappropriate actions or behaviors will not be tolerated at any time while staying in the park.
  10. Golf Carts are only permitted for use under the following bylaw. Failure to comply will result in a fine(s) or eviction from the Park.
    • Golf Course Use – Campers that are currently staying in Park must take the most direct path to and from the golf course. Town of Outlook residents are permitted to take the most direct path to get their golf carts down to the golf course in the Spring when the golf course opens and use the most direct path to take them home in the Fall when the golf course closes.
    • Low Mobility Use – Campers that are currently staying in the Park must take the most direct path to and from the washroom/shower facilities. Campers must have a valid Handicap Parking Permit to use a golf cart for this purpose.
    • Valid Driver’s License – Anyone operating a golf cart must have a valid driver’s license.
    • Hours of Operation – No golf cart will be allowed to drive on the Park roads after dusk. This rule applies to golf carts with or without headlights.
    • Impaired Driving – Please remember that these are public roads and ALL rules regarding impaired driving apply to golf carts as well.
    • Traffic Signs – Please obey all stop and yield signs in the Park.
    • No Rides – Giving rides to individuals is not prohibited.
  11. Online Reservation Schedule – Online reservations will begin on the 2nd Monday, at 9:00 am, in January. Reservations one month or longer will be processed in a “first come, first serve” process during the first week of reservations. The 3rd Monday, at 9:00 am, reservations one week or longer will processed in a “first come, first serve” basis. The 4th Monday, at 9:00 am, reservations of any length will be processed in a “first come, first serve” basis. **Please note that telephone, email and fax reservation requests will not be accepted from the 2nd Monday in January until the Friday of the May Long weekend**
  12. Telephone Reservations will begin on the Friday of the May Long weekend at 2:00pm.
  13. Email and Fax reservations are no longer accepted.
  14. There will be a $10 per site Reservation Fee per site. This fee is non-refundable.
  15. There will be a $10 Cancellation Fee per site applied to all cancellations. This fee is non-refundable.
  16. There will be a $10 Change fee applied to each of the following: changing sites, changing arrival or departure dates. There is no fee applied if you are adding days to your reservation.
  17. Full payment of your reservation is required at the time of booking. The non- refundable reservation fee will be charged at that time.
  18. “No-Show”: If you do not arrive at the campground by 12 p.m. on the second day of your stay, and if you have not contacted the park to inform them of your late arrival, you will be deemed a “No-Show”. Your site will be released, thereby terminating your reservation.
  19. If a reservation is cancelled, with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice prior to the first day of arrival, a refund of Camping Fees will be issued less the $10 per site non-refundable Reservation Fee and the $10 per site Cancellation Fee. The Camping Fees can only be refunded to the credit card used in the original transaction. No exceptions. If not cancelled within the allowable time frame, then you must pay for 2 nights plus the $10 per site Cancellation Fee and the $10 per site Non-Refundable Reservation Fee.
  20. Once in the campsite and you want to check out early, then you must contact the Park Entry booth before with a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to departure for a refund of your remaining stay. If not cancelled within the allowable time frame you must pay for 2 nights stay plus the $10 per site Change Fee.
  21. In the event of a conflict of a reservation the park will use its best efforts to provide the camper with a campsite with equal services. If the service cannot be provided, then the park will adjust the cost based on the overflow rate. No refunds will be issued unless a regular site or an overflow site is not available.
  22. The Outlook & District Regional Park has the right to change your site at any time without prior notice.

  18. When booking 1 month, the 48 hours cancellation policy does not apply to the first month but does to consecutive months. If cancelling the first month, the payment of one month plus the $10 per site non-refundable Reservation Fee will not be refunded.

If a reservation is cancelled, with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice prior to the first day of arrival, a refund of Camping Fees will be issued less the $10 per site non-refundable Reservation Fee and the $10 per site Cancellation Fee.
